#nowmorethanever, we will go on
22/05/2020
We have been suffering from this health and social pandemic for two months now. Many are the people affected by the disease and many more are suffering and will suffer the economic and social consequences. That’s why we can’t stop.
In Mambré we continue to do telework and that face-to-face activity necessary to provide decent housing for the homeless. The number of homes available has increased, reaching 282 at the moment, and we are continuing with rehabilitation work on several floors whenever possible and with all the necessary protection measures to prevent infection. We look forward to reaching the # horitzo300 goal soon
The housing acquisition team is still active, incorporating new rental, rehabilitation and purchase proposals into our portfolio. There are many people who do not yet have a home to build their lives in and Mambré worries us.
In the collective and shared housing that we manage, the social team has taken care of all the basic needs and health, and the difficulties that the fears and uncertainties for the situation of the Covid19 cause to the coexistence, through daily telephone attention and in person with more spaced visits.
The Employment Service continues to incorporate vulnerable people into the world of work. Despite the situation, there have been 10 job placements in the field of catering, geriatrics and cleaning.
We thank you for the collaboration of all the people and institutions that help us make our social project possible. Very honestly, without all of you nothing would be possible.
