The Cohabitatge project offers long-term shared housing to the homeless at the end of their social inclusion process. People who have regained full personal and social autonomy but who remain in a vulnerable situation due to precarious income that does not allow them to access the private housing market. The person has room and right to use the common spaces and makes a certain financial contribution based on his income. This project offers 144 places in 38 homes.
During 2022, it has had the support of the Barcelona City Council - City and Social Rights Commissions, through the granting of aid to the General Call for grants for projects, activities and district services and city for the year 2022.
During the year 2022, the Barcelona Provincial Council has also participated in the execution of our activity through subsidy in favor of non-profit organizations that manage social insertion housing.
